There is an F16 in there somewhere! Best seen larger (click image).
A really great show.
The oil drum BBQ will be a bit of a pain to store due to its size. However it could be used as a workbench/table when not being used as a barbeque. Drum bit will probably fit on lower shelf. Picture shows test fitting of an old desk top.
Corrosion pitting on one of our table knives. To put it in context, I suppose it has been subjected to use and rattling around in the dishwasher most days for about 35 years!
The industrial BBQ is finished.
The photo shows it in almost finished state. (There was still some painting to finish inside of legs).
Better get on with this project. Yesterday drained out the drum. In the end it had four or five gallons of what was mostly water in it. Even so I was a bit shy of using a disk cutter to cut it in half (sparks and explosion risk) even though it had contained kerosene at one time.
So, today I carefully marked out the cutting line in felt pen and then attacked it with the sabre saw. It took quite a while and was very noisy (ear defenders a must) but the end result was good – picture to follow and no explosions!
Jan said the Website with the Urbane theme was too complicated – well this theme – called Twenty Ten 1.2 – is about as uncluttered as you can get.
